I picture this as a tale told in "Operations".

Natsu:
Operation 1: Ask Lucy on a date....check.
Operation 2: Don't screw it up!!! (pending)

And it looks like she's wearing lip gloss, so I think Lucy's would be:
Operation 1: Get Natsu to ask me on a date (check)
Operation 2: Get Natsu to kiss me (pending...)
